Nike SB Box Goes Blue

The new blue Nike SB box signals the forthcoming of new models such as the April collection as well as thinner tongues. Blue marks the fifth color change in Nike SB history. Nike SB began releasing their sneakers inside of the orange/brown box which ultimately led to silver, pink and gold boxes. The blue SB box first appeared in the release of the very limited Made For Skate Blazer, but from now on all models will be packaged in blue and white. As for the April line, you can now find them at retailers now.

Air Jordan I (1) Retro - Hare

In 1991, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan VII (7) - Hare and in 2008 they brought back the sought after style for the Air Jordan 7/16 Countdown Pack. With Easter right around the corner, another Hare themed Air Jordan will be releasing, but it is not the Air Jordan VII, instead it is the Air Jordan I (1) Retro. The sneakers are outfitted with a colorway consisting of white, light graphite and true red. Aside from the colorway both models share, this pair of Air Jordan I also sports an Air Jordan VII design on the tongue with a silhouette of Bugs Bunny and Hare written under him. Look for these Air Jordan I - Hare, a womens Air Jordan I and matching apparel to hit retailers in the coming weeks as it is now available on the ‘Bay.

Kid Cudi Gets Second Chance On 'Day 'N' Nite' Video
via MTV News:
“We just expressed to the people who shot the video and told them we didn’t like it and wanted to try [something different],” he wrote on his blog. “Next thing you know, within hours it’s alllllll over the f—ing Internet.”
He said he was grateful for the opportunity to make the video and that he liked the overall concept for it, but he was upset that a lot of his ideas were ignored and left on the cutting-room floor. After seeing the video for the first time, Cudi said he and his team provided feedback, but they were ignored. The clip, which was released three hours later, was too silly for the MC’s taste. “I felt that the video made me look like a doofus,” he said.
Still, he said he learned to look on the bright side: The song could be interpreted in a variety of ways and that video was just one of them. Thankfully, he was given a chance to produce another interpretation.
For the official “Day ‘N’ Nite” video, he hooked up with French artist and director So Me, who previously worked on Kanye West’s “Good Life” video and Justice’s “D.A.N.C.E.”

2009 Nike SB Holiday Collection

As the seasons changes, so do the styles and selection of sneakers, Nike SB has a few different Dunks lined-up for the holidays including two Dunk Lows and two Dunk Highs, one being a collaboration working with Skate Mental. Hitting retailers in the first month of the Holiday season is a colorful Dunk Low consisting of green spark and hoop orange, a color scheme that could be inspired by Halloween. Second, the Dunk High pictured is made up of varsity red, white and blue and will be available starting in November. Dropping in December is the obsidian/charcoal Dunk Low along with the Skate Mental Crailtap x Nike SB Dunk High composed of hazel nut and light blue. Check out the pictures and catalog scans after the jump.

Pictures of the Air Jordan VI (6) Motorsports recently popped up where the sneakers were placed side by side with its Motorcycle counterpart. The bike is featured in a black and white paint job and cement print. The same can be said for the Air Jordan VI which is modeled after the bike. The majority of the upper consists of white leather and is accompanied by black on the midsole, sole and laces. Cement print is placed on the inner lining and Air Jordan is found on the tongue in red and yellow. A release date has yet to be confirmed, but stay posted for more info.
